About The Author :

This book does NOT encourage adults to monopolize any playground, or utilize the playground equipment while any children may want to utilize the desired areas at the same time, for the sole purpose of performing desired exercises that are offered in this book. We must remember that the playgrounds are made for the children primarily, and that we should allow them to maintain the higher priority. When other parents express an interest to do the same exercises or occupy the same playground spaces for any reason, we should be willing to share and encourage others as well.

However, this PE4P e-book and website certainly does offer parents diverse exercises that are interactive with their children, so that the children still maintain the higher priority to utilize each playground equipment and area as desired. With intelligent and fun exercise interaction, parents can still get quality exercise in busy playground environments and bond further with their children too, as another bonus, while no adults are "hogging" the playground equipment to themselves. This simply explains what we want this e-book and website to encourage, educate, and promote.

Nevertheless, parents can still find vacant playground materials or areas to get important exercise while overseeing their children playing, but sometimes we need to find more vacant times and/or days to take our children to certain popular local playgrounds. As with everything, we simply need to make the time to fulfill our goals and interests, as well as make all our decisions based upon our priorities. Getting exercise and/or taking our children to a playground may not be a high priority when we are too busy to do both, but with better time management, many of us can exercise more often while with our children and improve our health, fitness, life, and family relationships as a result.

Furthermore, there are many places in a playground to do the same types of exercises, as this e-book explains with pictures and text for each common playground equipment area. For example, there are many places and ways to do push-ups, triceps dips, step-ups, and even plyometric power activities.

It is very important to frequently challenge the strength conditioning of our arms, legs, and core. While parents are watching their kids in most playgrounds, there should be no frequent excuse for not having fun and performing needed exercises too. As this website and e-book gains more feedback and requests, we would like to add more activities and update our website periodically as needed.

Again, PE4P-2 devotes the first chapter to safety tips and injury prevention. Dysfunctional movement patterns and accumulative cycle patterns are leading causes to injuries and necessary surgeries; therefore, it is important to make sure that each exercise and daily physical activity is performed with the best of form, technique, and biomechanical movement patterns. Some goals and activities are safely performed 4-6 days per week, at most, while others should be limited to 1-2 days per week, which also relates to the amount of intensity and fatigue that is experienced. PE4P-2 details all this to the best as possible, but remains open for questions and comments, to always improve as possible too.

More activities and updates to this website should be done periodically as needed. Based upon more interest and requests, this supportive website may provide access to playground exercise video demonstrations, as well as common questions and answers.

Hopefully you will enjoy this book, learn from it, be influenced to do more than you have been, improve your physical and emotional health, as well as possibly build a stronger relationship with your children. In other words, the desire for PE4P-2 is to become a wise investment into your future, as well as your children and anyone else who may benefit from everything that there is to offer.
